ROSE

Just returned from the Vet, he couldn't feel any pups but thinks she is pregnant. He said the best time to feel for pups is at three weeks after that it is usually impossible to feel them. The vet does believe that she is pregnant though.

NEW MUD PICS

Took camera and Mud to the woods Sunday, got two pics and have sent them to Paul for posting.

Paul has posted a new version of the Lab Breed Standard, PDF format.

JET

Report received from Jets elbow x-rays. OFA found them to be "normal", their ref # LR-EL21150M28-PI. Jet is now available as a stud.

ROSE

Brought Rose home last evening from Maine. She was bred 4 times by CH Simerdown't Hilton. Pups expected around first of March.

Doindogs Winnie

Steve ANDREWS called today to say that "Winnie" had saved his day. Winnie is one of Yew's pups, 8 mos old. Winnie is lucky enough to have Steve who takes her with him every day. Steve was working at a train wreck in northern New Brunswick where he lost the keys to his truck in the snow. The key has a computer chip, making it expensive and hard to replace. Steve began looking in the snow and then solicited the help of Winnie. She appeared to understand and began to search, soon finding it!

Rose

Took Rose to USA yesterday to be mated with "CH Simerdown's Hilton". This mating should produce both chocolate and black pups near the end of February.

OBEDIENCE CLASSES

10 Obedience classes starting Sunday 4 January 7PM. All are invited to watch.

Jet

Results of VetGen's DNA test were "Type 11 BB-Ee (By)". I wanted to mate him with Rose but that mating would produce only black pups.
